Naval Ship Crest's
A Wide Display Of Naval Ship Crests
In the room opposite the main display room are a collection of Navy ship crests.

Every Royal Australian Naval ship will have a ship crest made that will represent its role while in service.

Our crest room has a vast array of ship crests from various ships past and present representing their years in service.
Each and every ship will have a crest individual to it and when the ship is decommissioned the crest is places into storage until a new ship of the same name is commissioned.

Thus there have been several HMA Ships known as Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. Each of these ships will carry the identical crest.

You will find these displayed in our collection. Our members have served in many of these ships and have a crest displayed for their ship.
